A Thought: "I know how devoted you are to God, since you did not withhold from me your own beloved son." (Genesis 22:12) Abraham was so devoted to God that he was willing to sacrifice his only son. How does our own devotion compare?

Choose Life Prayer - We pray that we may learn to be obedient to God's commandment: "Thou shalt not kill."

Vocation View - Peter, James, and John saw the Lord transfigured before their eyes and heard, "This is my son, my beloved, listen to him." Are you listening? (Mark 9:2-10)
