Regina Booster Club Fish Fry

 

Come and enjoy the Annual Booster Club Fish Fry at Regina Education Center every Friday through April 14th from 5-8 PM. Shrimp or salmon dinners will be $9 and cod or catfish dinners will be $8. To go orders may be called in after 4:30 PM to 338-5436.

 

Regina Tuition Scholarships

 

Have you thought about sending your children to Regina, but were uncertain because of tuition fees? Or, are you currently a Regina family having trouble meeting tuition costs? Many generous donors have given of their treasure to ensure all families have the opportunity of a Catholic education. Five new endowed scholarships have been created for 2006. The average award is $500 per student. Applications are available on Regina's website. Hard copies are also available at the Catholic Community Foundation office. All applications must be returned to the Regina office, or the Catholic Community Foundation by April 17, at 3 PM.

 

Regina Distinguished Alumni Award

 

The Catholic Community Foundation will award the 5th annual Distinguished Alumni Award during graduation ceremonies on May 28th, 2006. The awards are specifically designed to recognize one male and one female alum whose lives and actions embody the teachings of Jesus Christ and the ideals of a Regina Catholic education. The award may be given posthumously. ANYONE may nominate a candidate. Criteria and nomination forms for the award can be found on the Regina website , or contacting the Catholic Community Foundation at 354-5866. Nominations are due April 21st, 2006.

Regina Jr. High Registration and Information

 

Regina Junior and Senior High School will hold a registration and information meeting on March 23rd at 7 PM in the new cafeteria. This meeting will provide next year's 7th grade students and their parents an opportunity to meet teachers, view the facility and preview academics and extra curricular activities. Do you hope to win the Power Ball Lottery someday? Do you now that you would have to buy 70,00 tickets to have the same winning odds as buying one $75 Regina ticket in the "Always Supporting Education" Raffle? Tickets are available at the Scrip order table or order forms and envelopes are in the vestibule.
