Brendan Moss, OSB, a monk of St. Meinrad Archabby, Steve Agrisano, Catholic recording artist, and Fr. REGINA NEWS

Tri-Parish Religious Education Needs You

One hundred years from now,
It will not matter what kind of car you drove,
How much money you had in the bank,
Nor what your clothes look like.
But the world may be a little better
Because you were important in the life of a CHILD.

Take time to pray, reflect and listen to God's calling. Our Religious Education Program may be the
ministry you are being called to. For information on how to become a Catechist, call Sr. Mary Frank at 351-7638.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Registration for Tri-Parish Religious Education at Regina is taking place now. Parent packets were sent in the mail the first week of August. If you have not received yours, please the Religious Education Office at 351-7638. It is very important that we receive the registrations as soon as possible.

Annual Homecoming Chili Supper

An alternative supper for children will also be served (peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and applesauce). Join us to view the Homecoming parade and coronation of the 2006 Homecoming court. The Chili Supper benefits the Junior class. Questions? Call Stacy Sueppel at 338-5436, ext. 234.

"One holy, Catholic, apostolic Church." We say we believe in it every week. Come join a small group and reflect again on what it means. Why Catholic? A Journey through the New Catechism of the Catholic Church is a great way to take a new look at what we believe and why we believe it. Watch for a mailing on September 11th.

THOUGHTS ON STEWARDSHIP

The apostle James reminds us in today's second reading that every blessing we have received comes from God.

Choose Life Prayer - We pray for a greater respect for God's law, "Thou shalt not kill."

Vocation View - Every worthwhile gift comes from above. What gifts do you have? Are you being asked to use those gifts in full-time service for the church? ((James 1:17-19)
